FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who are the volunteers?

This is a grassroots group of individuals who want to help their neighbors who may have a specific need during the pandemic.

What can this group do for me?
We're not sure what will be needed during this new situation, but some of the needs we anticipate include:

  • Basic supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, and more.

  • Groceries

  • Prepared meals

  • Prescriptions and medical supplies

  • Pet supplies

  • Someone to talk to on the phone

  • Take garbage cans to the curb

  • Bring your mail to your front step

  • Other similar tasks

How do I pay for my items?

For the safety of you and our volunteers, we do not accept cash. In most cases we can accept Venmo, CashApp, and Paypal for reimbursement of items purchased.

Do you charge for your time for helping me?
No. Our volunteers are here donating their time to help support the community.

What if I don't have Venmo or Paypal?

We will do our very best to fill your need, regardless of your ability to pay. However, we have a wonderful volunteer who is willing to hop on the phone with you and walk you through how to get set up with both apps. You can also learn how to install them here.

What if I've been out of work and cannot pay?

We will do our very best to fill your need, regardless of your ability to pay. All reasonable requests will be considered.
